What if Pacquiao lost to Cotto on Nov 14th
I don’t think Pacquiao can handle the power, strength and size advantage of elite Miguel Cotto. The chin of Pacquiao is untested in fact Marquez rocks him during their last fight. Dela Hoya and Hatton didn’t land a power shot, I feel that when Pacquiao get caught of one power punch from Cotto, absolutely the fight will be over. Addition for this downfall of Pacquiao, Pacquiao's training camp at Baguio City Philippines suffers a lot of distraction and besides Pacquiao cannot do his road work because Philippines have simultaneously affected by bad weather conditions. But I’m not saying that Pacquiao will have a good chance even if he had a great camp. Pacquiao is overhype. That’s the reality, he can’t escape that. Wait until Nov 14th and Cotto is going to expose Pacquiao’s weakness. On my perspective, choosing Miguel Cotto to fight is a big mistake for Pacquiao because Cotto is a living legend fighter.
Maybe Pacquiao will go back to light welterweight to have a rematch with an overhype fighter like Ricky Hatton or rematch to finish his unfinished business to Elite Juan Manuel Marquez or fight upcoming talented fighters like Amir Khan and Timothy Bradley. Whoever he choose to fight next, he has to win that fight or his boxing career will be over. For now, I'm really sure that after nov 14th, Manny Pacquiao will never be the same fighter after suffering a devastating knockout lost against Cotto. |
