The King Mayweather is back

Hail the King. He is back, Who? The King Mayweather! After a 21 month retirement, he came back to fight, destroy, dismantle the current pound for pound elite Juan Manuel Marquez. Mayweather' speed and size killed Marquez. Mayweather owned every round of the match. Marquez seemed to be just his sparring partner during the fight. Before Mayweather retired in 2007, he is the p4p Kingpin.

The old Mayweather and the ressurected one has no difference at all. He is still the great Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather. He fought Marquez without any problem even though he had a 21-month layoff. Enigma! 50% of his total punches landed while Marquez had only 12%. The fight was totally one sided. Marquez was very eager to land a punch that could slow down Mayweather but has no effect at all. I think he gave his all to win and i admire his courage. The problem is, even he threw his power shots, combinations and even simple jab, it didn’t land. I feel sorry for Marquez.

One intense part of the event happened when Mosley and Kellerman interfered and challenged Mayweather. During Kellerman's interview with Mayweather, Mosley appeared from a corner asking Mayweather to fight him. For me, it could be an exiting fight to watch for. Mayweather vs Mosley is a tremendous match up. I also want to have a Mayweather vs Pacquaio. I think Floyd will take a period of rest for now and wait the Nov 14 Pacquiao - Cotto before deciding who will be his next victim.
