Pacquiao vs Mayweather: Pacquiao agrees to 50 50 split

Negotiations between Bob Arum and Richard Schaefer were great. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao met in the Philippines to discuss the proposed fight for March 2010.

According to Michael Koncz, Manny Pacquiao has some additional requirements on the fight, "Manny has some additional requirements, requests, which Arum didn't think was a problem. The requests of Manny were so realistic that Arum doesn't feel it's a problem and it's pretty much a done deal," Koncz said.

The venue for the fight will either be at Dallas Cowboys Stadium or MGM Grand Garden Arena or New Orleans Superdome.

The Team Pacquiao is planning to train in Baguio Philippines for the preparation of the fight next year. It was the training site where Pacquiao trained for Pacquiao-Cotto Firepower. The two fighters will fight for Manny Pacquiao’s title. It will be an interesting match-up between two great boxers in our time.
