Pacquiao vs Cotto: A Rematch for Justice

Last Saturday Manny Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto by a TKO in a 12-round unstoppable fight. Cotto was badly beaten on the fight. Miguel Cotto showed a big heart surviving Pacquiao's speed.

Pacquiao was victorious and made Cotto backpedaled in late rounds. Let's get straight, Pacquiao's performance was good but I'm still in doubt about the fight. Cotto was damaged goods plus the catch weight issue that Pacquiao always drains his opponent. That was Freddie Roach's plan from the beginning to make Cotto starve to death to reach the weight limit.

Pacquiao was so lucky on the fight. He was able to connect a lucky punch that floored Cotto in 4th round. He has never recovered from it because of the solid impact of the punch. I saw Miguel Cotto's legs shaking after the KO.

Overall, Pacquiao-Cotto was good. The numbers were good. I'm expecting a rematch of this fight.

I think Cotto will avenge for his pride to regain his Welterweight belt and for the punishments he suffered from the slugger Pacquiao.

In my opinion, a Firepower II is possible and I'm looking forward to it.

After a decisive victory, which should have stoppped much earlier, you still make excuses about the win?!?!? Were you watching the same fight?? Manny totally dismantled Cotto. His size and boxing skills were no match for the Manny's speed and power in both hands. Im surprised that Cotto actually lasted that long. The fight should have been stopped sooner. If I remember right, he was dropped in the 3rd and 4th round. No luck involved there! It wasn't luck that he destroyed Cotto's face. Its his great speed, power and boxing skills that won him 7 titles in 7 different weight classes. Remember that!

Muniz, you were the one who told us that Cotto is 120 percent ready, then you say he was drained by the catch weight? What kind of guy is this?? He's contradicting what he has said. You can't be called a boxing journalist if you have a one sided sight in the fight. You said "this guy is a beast" and praised his media workout and blah blah blah and when the fight came in to a Round 12 TKO you made that impression. Why haven't you said that in the first place?
