Pacquiao tired of accusations
It was a bad sign for the potential Pacquiao-Mayweather megafight in 2010 which was tentatively scheduled in March 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the bout is still in jeopardy. "Enough is enough. These people, Mayweather Sr., Jr., and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs," said Pacquiao. "I have instructed my promoter, Bob Arum, head of Top Rank Inc., to help me out in the filing of the case as soon as possible because I have had people coming over to me now asking if I really take performance-enhancing drugs and I have cheated my way into becoming the No. 1 boxer in the world," said Pacquiao. Pacquiao denied the accusations against him. I believe that Pacquiao isn’t avoiding drug testings but the real subject here is he just doesn’t want that blood testing so close to the fight. In fact, they can have blood testing right after the fight.
All the issues may affect Manny Pacquiao’s reputation as a professional boxer but I believe that Pacquiao is clean and has nothing to hide. He’s one of the most favorite boxers in our time. You know the difference between a fighter and a coward, right? |
