Manny Pacquiao is now starting his eight week training camp under the legendary trainer Freddie Roach at Baguio City Philippines to prepare his upcoming showdown against the Champion Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao said that he saw a lot of mistakes from Marquez's game plan and he spotted some weaknesses of Mayweather. He added, he can do much better than Marquez if he face Mayweather. Some interviews stated and ask if he can defeat him, Pacquiao simply smiles and said, let us see what will happen and smiles again. We know Pacquiao is a type of a humorous person. The more Pac-man smiles, the more Pac-man annihilates his opponent in the ring. He is very cool but very hot in the ring.
Manny Pacquiao is now very busy for his preparation against Cotto. Manny Pacquiao's training is scheduled to sparring sessions next week with undefeated light middleweight Shawn Porter and Mexican warrior Urbano Antillon. Pacquiao's training camp in Philippines is perfect for his up and down hill road work. Coach Roach has no worries about distraction because we all know that Philippines is his homeland. The training camp is under control by all his instructions. I want Pacquiao to win over Cotto. I believe that his speed can overwhelm the size and power of Cotto. Also, if he beat Cotto he will have a big chance against Mayweather. Mayweather is respected in the boxing community but some commentators are mocking him because they say that he is ducking dangerous fighters like Margarito, Mosley and Cotto before retiring in 2007. He came back this year and chose Marquez instead.
If Pacquiao wins against Cotto, it will lead him to his showdown against Mayweather Jr. Potentially the Fight of the Century and will resolve a lot of questions like who is the best, who is the undisputed pound for pound king.
