Pacquiao and Cotto,Who is ahead between the two right now

Oct. 13, 2009 | by Dominic L. Hernandez

It’s just only a month before the showdown between Pacquiao and Cotto. The fans are so excited to watch this fight. Believe me, fans from different colors will be seized by this epic match. Both warriors are busy right now on their own preparations. We know that one great training camp will have a big effect on the fight result. The more you prepare, the more you have the chance of winning the bout. So who do you think has a better camp or preparation right now? Who ahead in terms of preparation?

Cotto's training camp is more than two months now. Meanwhile, Pacquiao's side has less than a month. If the fight will be settled right now, it shows that Cotto will beat Pacquiao easily. In fact some rumors stated that Pacquiao's training camp is out of the track because of Pacquiao's extra activities, fan distractions and the weather condition in Philippines. Cotto is almost ready and besides its more than eight weeks and there are still one month remaining. In the past, Cotto trains only six to ten weeks but now he schedules the longest training camp ever in his entire career. The reason behind this, it's because this is the biggest fight in his life.

Pacquiao's training suffered a lot of wasted time because of the weather condition on his camp's location. He didn’t get a road work but as an alternative, Roach implied swimming exercise at the pool instead. Roach also has many concerns about the flow of the camp.

So who is ahead between the two right now? It's obviously Cotto, plus Cotto's training flows according to their plan and without a problem. The only downfall of Cotto's long training is the possibility that he exceeds and be over-trained. In the science of boxing, the ideal training for a boxer are ten weeks maximum. So that could be a big problem? Don’t worry if you're Cotto’s fan because Santiago and Cotto know what they are doing. Even this is a longer training they know how to handle the pacing. So I think there’s no problem, but of course the risk to be overtrained is still present.

here's what will happen on Nov. 14............. at the first round of Pacman-cotto fight, cotto will now be able to feel the punch of a p4p king and maybe try to survive it but its too late because he never felt a punch like it and now shit's all over in his shorts with matching piss and puke all over the ring! he feels embarrassed and run around the ring and jump out of it and don't know what to do until he grabs the hammer of the bell and strike it in Dominic L. Hernandez head. wow! how tragic!

I'm sure Manny Pacquiao got this one on the bag. He has tremendous combination of speed and power which is very overwhelming. This fight won't last long, I think Pacquiao will knock Cotto at the early rounds of the fight. Good luck Manny! Give glory to the Philippines! "7 division world champion in the making!"
