Bob Arum: I'm not going to let my fighter play Mayweather's games

Boxing fans are still hoping for Pacquiao-Mayweather mega fight to come true. This is going to be a great match-up. Two great boxers, Two different styles. Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum told the media about the possible negotiation on the fight.

According to the promoter,

"The only reason I want this Mayweather fight is because the public wants it so badly," Arum said. "Boxing is on a real, real roll right now and I don’t want to do anything to get it off that. But if that doesn’t matter to him, OK, it doesn’t matter to him. I have no problem.

"But I would feel I cheated the sport I’ve worked in for so long if I stood in the way of this fight happening. Because of that, I’ll do everything in my power to try to make it happen. Do I really want this happening, though? Other than that, the answer is no."

As we all know, Bob arum was Mayweather’s promoter and now promotes the Pound for Pound King Manny Pacquiao. The split cut is the big issue on this fight. The two fighters can generate huge numbers when they fight but both sides argue about who will get more.

Bob Arum mentioned, "Once he’s authorized, things will proceed. I’m not going to play Mayweather’s games, though. I’m not going to let my fighter play Mayweather’s games. If Mayweather wants to fight Pacquiao and make a lot of money, he can do so. But God love him, no one is forcing him to fight and if he wants to play games or he doesn’t want the fight, he can do what he wants."

Fans want the fight. This fight will be carved in history. This fight will bring boxing to another level. This fight is boxing.

Sorry Bob Pacquiao is not going to beat Money Mayweather thats why u dont want to do the split 60/40 mayweather cus its Pacquiaos last fight Mayweather is gonna make him look stupid in there.

As if mayweather showed what he can do to face the toughest fighters out there. Wherein pacquiao faced them despite talks that he won't be able to beat them. (De la Hoya vs Pacquiao wherein he's the underdog). Mayweather just fought the names which never raised that's why he's still unbeaten.

Why would pacquiao get less than Mayweather. Pacquiao has proven his worth time and time again. Unlike, Mayweather who had been known to avoid fighters whom he might lose like Margarito, Shane Mosley, etc. His records of 0 defeated is well planned. So if he wants to avoid Pacquiao, all he needs to do is make an unreasonable demand.
